Welcome to Seattle Kids Read and Write! I’m Molly, a former Language Arts teacher with more than twelve years of teaching experience. I now tutor children from Pre-K to grade 12 in reading, writing, and spelling, helping kids become more effective in these skills in a fun, productive environment. I am also a Certified Wired for Reading® Specialist extensively trained in the Wired for Reading® approach.
As a former Language Arts teacher and an avid reader and writer, I love sharing my passion for reading and writing with children of all ages. I work with a variety of students — from resistant writers to children with dyslexia to home schoolers looking for strong reading and writing enrichment. I combine high expectations with humor to help students reach their potential and learn valuable skills.
I believe that children learn best when their individual learning styles are taken into account. Whether your child needs remediation or enrichment, I will challenge your child at the appropriate level using his or her optimal learning styles.
